Organized in partnership with HYSEA, the Society for Cyberabad Security Council (SCSC), and numerous other organizations, the run is scheduled for October 6th at Gachibowli Stadium, Hyderabad. Participants can choose from three race categories: a 2K Walk, a 5K Fun Run, and a 10K Timed Run. This year's theme, "Run for Grace, Screen for Life," underscores the crucial role of early detection and preventive measures in the battle against cancer.

Dr. Chinnababu Sunkavalli, Senior Consultant Robotic Surgical Oncologist and Founder of the GRACE (Global Research and Cancer Education) Cancer Foundation, emphasized the importance of community involvement and support in the fight against cancer. "Grace Cancer Run is more than just a race; it is a movement dedicated to saving lives through awareness, education, and early detection. By participating, you contribute to vital cancer screening programs and research initiatives."

Dr. Sunkavalli highlighted the pressing need for cancer awareness, stating, "We envision a world without cancer. Currently, cancer, heart disease, lung disease, and diabetes are responsible for nearly 80% of deaths in India. With the funds generated from the run, we have already screened 40,000 individuals from poor, rural populations. This year, our goal is to screen 100,000 people free of cost."
