The Federation of Telangana Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FTCCI) in Red Hills hosted a pivotal seminar on Wednesday, focusing on Food Processing & Packaging and the surging global demand for Indian food and beverage (F&B) products. Additionally, he stressed the importance of improving farmers' incomes, empowering women, and boosting the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) sector, particularly within food processing. Consumer health and safety were also identified as primary areas of concern.
Mr. Suresh Kumar Singhal, another esteemed guest, remarked on the crucial juncture at which the Indian food processing industry stands. He noted the government's recent budget announcements, which underscore its dedication to the sector's growth and development.

Mr. Devansh Trivedi, Director of Shanti Boilers & Pressure Vessels Pvt. Ltd., delivered an insightful talk on sustainability in food processing and packaging. The keynote address by Mr. Rupesh Patel, Co-founder of Healthy Honest Foods Pvt. Ltd., delved into global demand trends and the increasing appetite for Indian F&B products. Mr. Patel provided valuable insights into the expanding global market for Indian food products, highlighting popular items like frozen samosas, vegetarian biryani, and Indian curries, which enjoy significant demand abroad. He noted the growing interest not only among the Indian diaspora but also among international consumers, especially post-pandemic.
Unique Indian Products Gaining Global Recognition
Tamala Chatterjee, Chief Growth Officer of SID's Farm, discussed the rising global demand for Full Moon Ghee, a product rooted in Vedic traditions. Full Moon Ghee, made under the auspicious Purnima moon, is valued as a potent elixir promoting balance in the body and soul. Its unique production process and health benefits have contributed to its growing popularity overseas.
