Raksha Bandhan is a festival that celebrates the bond between brothers and sisters. Every year female students of Heritage International School, Kasaramboli, Pune celebrate it with police officers which is a unique and meaningful way to show appreciation for their service and protection.
Girls tie Rakhis on the wrists of police officers, symbolizing protection and blessings.
Offer traditional sweets and snacks to police officers as a token of appreciation.
To honour the service and sacrifices of police officers. The school conducts community engagement activities to involved in the celebration, fostering a sense of unity and gratitude.
For the past 5 years, students have visited the Paud Police Station for the Rakhi celebration which was the initiative taken by Principal Dr Renu Patil as this celebration can strengthen the bond between police officers and the community they serve.
Police station visit helps them to know the different depts under the station as well weapons, how to register FIR, custodies etc which adds to the knowledge expressed by Dr Renu Patil
The management members of Heritage are Mr Krishna Bhilare ( Founder President), Mrs Sangeeta Bhilare, (Secretary), Mr Kunal Bhilare( Director), Mrs Yashaswini Bhilare gave the best wishes for this Rakhi celebration and appreciated students for this activity to honour the Police Dept
