Heritage International School in Kasaramboli, Pune, embraced the spirit of cleanliness and hygiene on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, in alignment with the directives from the Ministry of Jal Shakti and Ministry of Education, Government of India. The school, in collaboration with students, teachers, Grampanchayat members, and the local community, actively participated in the 'Swachhata Hi Seva' Campaign, a national movement aimed at promoting cleanliness and sanitation in society.
The campaign, celebrated as a 'Jan Andolan,' witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and teachers who engaged in a dedicated "Shramdaan" activity, contributing to a collective Cleanliness Drive - "Ek Tareekh Ek Ghanta." This initiative, held from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on October 1, 2023, led to a noticeable improvement in cleanliness within the designated areas chosen by the school and Kasaramboli Grampanchayat.

The student-led choir resonated with Gandhi's spirit by performing his favorite bhajan, 'Vaishnav Janto,' with immense enthusiasm.
