On November 14th, 2024, Heritage International School, Kasar Amboli, marked Children's Day with boundless joy and a spirit of celebration. The event was not only a tribute to the children but also a reflection of the values that shape their growth—courage, kindness, and creativity.
The day began with a heartfelt tribute to Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, whose birthday is celebrated as Children's Day in India. The school management, including Mr Krishna Bhilare (Founder & President), Mrs Sangeeta Bhilare (Secretary), Mr Kunal Bhilare (Director), Mrs Yashaswini Bhilare (Admin Manager), Principal Dr Renu Patil, and the dedicated staff, performed a Saraswati puja, setting the tone for the event with prayers for wisdom and success.
Rajan Kumbhar, a student from Std 10, delivered an inspiring speech that emphasized the importance of children in society and encouraged them to embrace their individuality with pride. His words resonated with the audience and beautifully set the stage for the performances that followed.
The celebration was a vibrant showcase of student talent, with a range of performances across various categories. Highlights of the day included:
1. Welcome Dance – Vidhi Mhatre from Std 9 opened the program with a graceful dance, infusing the event with energy and enthusiasm.
2. Instrumental Performance – Avanti Baddole from Std 4B mesmerized the audience with her enchanting musical skills as she performed an instrumental piece.
3. Dance Performances – Students from different grades, including Std 1A & 1B, Std 2A & 2B, and a combined group from Std 3, 4, and 5, brought the stage to life with colourful and energetic dance acts.
4. Group Song – A group of Std 10 students filled the hall with harmony and melody, delivering a heartfelt group song that captured the essence of the celebration.
5. Group Dance Performances – Students from Stds 6, 7, 8, and 9 showcased impressive group dances, demonstrating their coordination, teamwork, and stage presence.
The event concluded with a warm vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the students, teachers, and staff for their contributions in making the day a resounding success. The students of Std 9 and 10 were then treated to a fun-filled session of games, adding a playful and joyous touch to the celebration.
