Anil Sahebrao Kapile was born into a modest Maharashtrian family in Shrirampur. His family, comprising six members, included his parents, a younger brother, a sister, and himself. Anil's father, Sahebrao Gangadhar Kapile, was a hardworking individual who initially took up a job in a private company before becoming a wireman at the Maharashtra State Electricity Board (MSEB) in Mumbai. Due to financial hardships, he had to sacrifice his own education to support his family's needs, ensuring that his siblings received a proper education and that household responsibilities were met.
Anil's mother, Mrs. Taramati Kapile, was the heart of the family, dedicated to nurturing her children while managing the household. She went beyond her role as a homemaker by making homemade delicacies like Shevai and other food products on a small scale to contribute to her children's educational expenses. Her perseverance was nothing short of extraordinary. She mortgaged all her jewelry to ensure that her children could pursue their education without any financial barriers. With unwavering determination, she encouraged her children to excel not only academically but also in various extracurricular activities.
Mrs. Kapile instilled in her children a love for learning and a passion for excellence. She motivated them to participate in recitations, drawing, beautiful handwriting, oratory, storytelling, painting, writing, poetry, dance, and sports like cricket. Her goal was to raise well-rounded individuals who could shine in every aspect of life. Despite their own educational struggles, Mr. and Mrs. Kapile's greatest desire was for their children to receive the education they never had. Their dedication laid a strong foundation for Anil's future, driving him to reach for the stars.
Growing up under the guidance of such devoted parents, Anil developed a dream to become a renowned engineer. His journey began with his early education at Navin Marathi School in Shrirampur, followed by his studies at K.J. Somaiya High School, where he consistently excelled in various competitions. His passion for education drove him to achieve 64% in his 10th board exams despite studying in Marathi medium.
Anil's pursuit of excellence led him to pursue a diploma in Instrumentation at Pravaranagar (Loni). At the age of 21, he started coaching students on an hourly basis at Pravara Polytechnic, Loni, where he discovered his true passion for teaching. Determined to continue his journey in education, he went on to earn a Master's degree in Engineering from Savitribai Phule Pune University. Anil's dedication and expertise soon earned him a teaching position in the same college where he completed his diploma, followed by positions at Amrutvahini College of Engineering in Sangamner.
Anil's exceptional teaching skills and leadership qualities eventually led him to become the Principal of the Polytechnic College at M.I.T Yeola, Nashik. In 2017, he took on the role of Principal at Samarth Polytechnic, Belhe, Junner, Pune—an NBA-accredited college where he continues to lead with vision and passion.
Never one to rest on his laurels, Anil further expanded his knowledge by completing an MBA and is currently pursuing a Ph.D., guided by respected mentors like Dr. Nilesh Kalani and Dr. Pratik Mungekar.
